Festive Snickerdoodle Cookies

There’s nothing like a holiday to make festive snickerdoodle cookies.  Christmas is the perfect time to decorate the cookies using the traditional Christmas colors of green and red.  I love using the multi-colored sprinkles to give the cookies that holiday look.

The festive snickerdoodle cookie is a favorite in my household.  The family looks forward to that hardy full body crunch.  Can I say this is an “Old School” Snickerdoodle recipe right from the Betty Crocker Cookbook.

The Snickerdoodle can be a soft-cake like cooke or more of a cookie with a crunch.

The festive snickerdoodle cookies are the perfect cookies to give as holiday gifts to teachers, neighbors, mail-personnel, or the sanitation workers when you want to acknowledge their hard work.  These cookies have a nice bite, they’re crunchy and sweet and very addictive.  It’s really hard to eat just one.
