A light fruity frozen dessert which makes for a healthy treat.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
4 cups strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
Combine the three ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
Pour the strawberry puree into a 13"x9" baking dish or medium size dish.
Allow the puree to lightly freeze forming ice crystals. Scrape the strawberry mixture multiple times as it freezes to help develop a crystalline texture. This could take 3 or more hours.
