Rosemary Pan Seared Salmon

Salmon is one of my favorite go to proteins. It’s very flavorful and easy to prepare. When I can remember to take it out of the freezer it can be prepared in less than 15 minutes.

I love growing my own herbs and rosemary is one of them.   Rosemary pairs well with salmon. It does so much to add flavor to the food. All you need to do is salt and pepper the salmon before placing it in a hot cast iron skillet with a small amount of oil and butter.

Depending on the thickness of the cut of salmon the fish can be cooked on top of the stove and finished up in a preheated 350-degree oven.  Seafood can be a healthy choice for a meal Basil Pesto with Seafood, Asparagus Pasta is another wonderful choice for a meal that can be found in the recipe file under seafood.
